Submittable is a very user friendly submission management system. We considered several platforms when we launched our online art gallery and Submittable was the one we felt and still feel supports our business goals. The support team is very responsive, professional and helpful in solving issues.

I'm using Submittable for the publications and activities of the peak body for creative writing in higher education (Australia), and for two journals; in the past 25 years I have been very involved in editing and publishing, and have spent an inordinate chunk of my life simply managing the contributions sent in by authors. Submittable has transformed this; I absolutely love the fact that I don't have to record and organise material as it comes in; that I don't have to explain it to my fellow editors; that I can always find the contribution I am looking for, and all the correspondence and notes associated with that contribution in one simple search. Honestly, I know I am gushing, but I can't recommend it strongly enough. It costs practically nothing, and it has made my editorial work manageable, do-able, endurable and (dare I say it) enjoyable.

Submittable is easy to use and gets the job done allowing writers and artists to submit work in response to calls for submissions. It has an easy and intuitive user interface and provides a great user experience. I've used it both as a poet and as a publisher and it works equally well on both sides of the transom, as it were. For literary and arts organizations, it also integrates with other tools like MailChimp so you can maintain mailing lists and communicate with your user base as your needs demand. I recommend Submittable highly.

Submittable seems like a great management tool. However as a consumer I will not submit to any firm using this app. One is required to create a Submittable account. They have a very extensive privacy policy. Worth looking at. You have no privacy. Despite the appearance of an option, there is only one, yes or yes.

This is a convenient submissions platform but I'm not sure there's a lot of vetting going into what entities are allowed to solicit submissions here--I would definitely advise doing your own background checks before handing over your work and money. Poets & Writers' Writing Contests, Grants & Awards listings are available for free on their website and you don't need an account to search them.

As the editor of a literary magazine, I would be lost without Submittable, which enables me to see, organize, read and reply to submissions. Anytime I've had a question, the staff has been quick to reply helpfully.

This is a great site for preparing journal articles. The staff are friendly and always answer questions promptly.
